Iran frames that incident as a “human error”. As per news iran’s General staff of the armed forces said that the targeted plane was close to their “sensitive military site”. But killing innocents can not be justified with this statement.

They stated that “is such a condition, because of human error and in an unintentional way the flight was hit”. The military has decided that they will upgraded their system to avoid such incidents in future. Iranian president Hassan Rouhani posted on his official social media account that “My thoughts and prayers go to the mourning families. I offer my sincerest condololences” he further added that “investigations continue to identify and prosecute this great tragedy and unforgivable mistake” .

On Saturday, the victims country’s president Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that they expect compensation for this tragic incident. He further added that “ We expect from Iran assurances of their readiness for a full and open investigation, bringing those responsible to justice, the return of the bodies of the dead, the payment of compensation, official apologies through diplomatic channels”.

In initial days of that tragic incident Iran denied the allegation by Canadian intelligence of shooting down the Ukrainian aircraft. Ali Abedzadeh is a head of Iranian civil aviation authority. He was so rigid about his statement of not shooting down the aircraft with the missile because he believed there’s a strong coordination between Iran’s air defence and the Department of Civil Aviation. In Tehran, he stated to the reporters that “What is obvious for us, and what we can say with certainty, is that no missile hit the plane.”

Still there are many loopholes which has to be explained. People from all around the globe wants to know about the incident. They want to know why the Irania air space was open in such critical conditions and a lot more.

Iranian Forign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that “our profound regrets, apologies and condolences to our people, to the families of all victims and to other affected nations”. That plane was carrying a total 167 passengers, they all were innocent. Not knowing that the destination of this flight is death. 82 Iranian passengers, 57 Canadian passengers and 11 Ukrainian passengers lost their lives in this tragic incident. How can we forget about the 9 innocent crew members.
